I'm just curious about why they both post here (TT) if they're not backpackers? What's their motivation and/or Goal? Seems like political conversion, in many cases.

But surely, it's just to expouse their political beliefs. This is "supposedly" a backpacking site, and of course other topics will come into play here, but these guys aren't backpackers! (or... they are "has-been" backpackers or "wanna-be" backpackers")

Bottom Line = their first priority in posting here has nothing to do with backpacking.”

(fyi - your "bottom line" is way off. I posted here before my surgery when I was backpacking. I had 2 other names and told everybody when I switched each time. The first name I had was too much like "woundedknee" so I switched. The 2nd time I switched was because I was given a trailname by fellow backpackers, ie: "Sarge". Perhaps you didn't frequent the site enough to know all this 1.5 years ago. Either way, I'm not sure how you busting on me has to do with campfire chat either, but I digress.)

PS - Please don't tell my wife I'm not a backpacker!! I'm going to have to explain to her why I spent all that money on gear and why 1/2 our wedding registry was gear.

Answer #1: Did you read my post? It's ALL in there! You want me to rewrite it? (1) People told me, and I quote "We already have a woundedknee.", and (2) I was given a TRAILNAME, so I switched my USERNAME to my TRAILNAME. Why you think that's so odd is beyond me.

This has nothing to do with whether or not you track name changes. You are the one who started busting on me out of the blue when somebody made a torll of me. I didn't even complain about it other than to let Matt know I wasn't copying his USERNAME. Ironic, since I'm the one who brought to your attention "wandererer". What's your problem today?

If it means anything to you, you are now the first radical from the right on my ignore list, the radical elements from the left seemed to have dominated this board, so I naturally have a few of them on my ignore list, but you're just as outrageous in your extremist viewpoints from the right as they are in theirs from the left. You rank right up there (or down there) with Buddha Bear, et al.

I hope that gives you a little perspective on how you're percieved... you are a radical, not as a realist. As such, you have no credibility.
