Here's a handy web site to calculate your fuel costs for upcoming trips. You input your starting and ending cities and your vehicle make and model. Then it will calculate your fuel cost based on the average fuels costs in that area of the country.

Jon and I used the site to figure our gas usage for our trip to go white water rafting in WV next week. If we take Jon's truck it will take 20 gallons more than my vehicle. So we are taking my RAV.

i've found this site helpful too...it shows what the gas mileage of your car is "supposed" to be and has a place to record what you are actually getting out of your car
