“Hey all, I've printed out Jessups maps in color and am going to have them laminated here at work. I've got 2 11X17's and 2 9X11's.

With MarkO's directions and the maps we should be able to get ourselves lost!

I can forgive Fridge for using GPS to navigate the Rim Trail...............it was a mother to find with map and compass.

At one point I climbed a tree with map and compass to find my way out to The Rim.

The way to the top of Haystack Knob from the west is a steep scramble without much of a trail.”

I was planning on bringing lots of old gear I don't use to give away, since I have gone ultra light and hammocking, I have lots of tents and other gear, stoves, sleepingbags etc,.....but if I'm the only one going, I don't need to bring the stuff.
