“'Sprinkle boy', LOL
If you sprinkle
while you tinkle
please be neat
and wipe the seat.”
“Hey John, I told you it was a good hike, didn't I? I did it as a dayhike last summer. Here's the link to my photos from that trip. Different time of year, different perspective.
Glad to see y'all gettin gout, even if it is with Sprinkle Boy!
“It indeed was an awesome hike!
Thanks for sharing your pics.
Now, what to do for Memorial Day Weekend???”
“My typo...I meant "Glad to see y'all getting out" not "Glad to see y'all gettin gout." I hope you don't get gout! LOL!”
Mem day weekend...
“Lost Lake and go hump mt Dunraven. It is a fantastic hike and the saddle is totally awsome with glacier fields and hidden glens with hidden waterfalls.
Its up towards Glenhaven.”
“LOL... I didn't think you would want us to get gout!
I'm wondering if most of the snow is gone from the Commanche Peak Wilderness Area???
An overnighter to Lost Lake sounds like a good idea.”
Lawn Lake and Crystal Lakes TR
We did a awesome hike this past Sunday in Rocky Mtn National Park!
Trailhead Elevation: 8,578'
Lawn Lake Elevation: 11,050'
Crystal Lakes Elevation 11,580'
Total Elevation Gained: 3,002'
Total Mileage Hiked: 15.5 Miles Roundtrip
We decided to hike from the Lawn Lake Trailhead to Lawn Lake which was 6.2 miles one way. Once we got to Lawn Lake we figured might as well hike the additional 1.5 miles to Crystal Lakes. If the weather hadn't turned we wanted to hike up to the Saddle which is a pass between Hague Peak and Mt Fairchild. At one point we reached a grassy meadow where we counted atleast 7 marmots! When we got up to Crystal Lakes some bitter weather blew in for about 15-30 minutes where we actually had to put on fleece gloves and hats.
We'll be heading back to the area next month to attempt a summit of Mummy Mtn and possible Hague Peak which are both over 13,000'!
Enjoy the pictures here!

John, did you and Danielle mean to dress alike? lol.”
“those are both my rain jackets and I like green....”
“Wanderer: Colorado has a great place to do dayhikes. I would definitely atleast fit a dayhike in on your next trip.
Stikmon: Yes, it was a great hike. I think next I want to do a loop with a 2nd car parked down the Black Canyon Trail.
ENS: Buttkickers out here go over 10,000'! How does that sound?
Thanks for the kind words about the photos.”

I just got back from an overnighter up at Devil's Thumb and thought I would share my photos with yall! It was beautimus!!!
