I'll leave that for someone else. I normally get yelled at for listening to bad music.

I've always liked Sweet Tea... fantastic album. Any of the songs off that...

Kayaking? I'm jealous. I've never been. I'm looking into doing a float trip in Utah next year and am deciding whether to get kayaks or rafts for it... the 'yaks appear to be winning.

i made a new myspace friend a few months back. i'm a little nervous though, i've only been on the sit on top types, and his is the other kind, complete with a skirt. i have to learn how to roll it. dammit i'm scared!

Kayaking is fun. I don't think I'd do it drunk though.

Diz, rolling is easy when you get the technique down...you will have fun.

see, I'd be in a situation where a tipped kayak would result in soaked gear for a couple nights (I'm looking at about a month-long trip, when all the side-hikes and exploring are done)... I've heard that the wider ones are much more stable, and there are no rapids or anything so it'd be an easy float. Still, I'm not sure. I have a friend out here who's a kayaker, so I'm gonna meet up with him at some point to test out the idea. Otherwise, I can just get a big inflatable tub and a couple hundred patch kits (just in case) and go in that

i know i won't tip, it's only the bay and i've never tipped before in a kayak or canoe, but he's told me that i have to learn how to roll it for emergencies. he's very thorough. i wonder how i can beg off?

I just got a message that I will get extra air miles for micro brewa at the local grocery chain. Looks like there's a six-pack of Newcastle in my very near future.

As an old friend (now with God) from France used to say, 'Here's to our wives and our horses and to those who ride them.'

I have embarrased my friend in Boston when I asked in a bar for a "small beer". Nope, they only had pints.

This evening, when I have finished the last basket of laundry, I will pour myself a wee little glass of rose for dinner :-)
