You people are crazy! Fruitcake is food of the Gods! And it's excellent calorie to weight ratio makes it ideal backpacking snackage.

"Honeybunches, I have had your ornament for a couple weeks but didn't have the right size box. Thanks to Gojo, I do now. Yours is going out in Monday's mail.”

Too funny. I was in the same boat until a package came from Dayhiker last week. =) Funny, a box can change hands between three, or four actually, TTers in a weeks time.

ENS, my goal is to get your ornament in the mail tomorrow.

I've still got the one you sent.... (It's definitely a custom job, < G >)

Birch's ornament is coming straight from the workshop, so I didn't need a box for that. I can try to hang onto it 'til Christmas 2008.

Wow! As I was writing a brief, my mailman knocks on the door, alerting me to a package that arrived. It was my ornament from the TT festivus (ie - Christmas) exchange from Carlette. What a nice break in the day!

The ornament is very cool - a moose in a tent roasting a marshmellow over a fire, with my name and "TT 2007" on the tent!

Thanks so much Carlette - I put it front and center on my tree!

Have a great holiday, and thanks again Joy for being the maestro again this year!

I'm so sorry, I am with the program now and I will be sending my person an ornament. Sorry to have disappeared into the void for so long. Life is toooo busy. My husband decided not to follow his job to Texas but now he is looking for something else and meanwhile we are working tons of hours. But I will be emailing my person today.

I have JB2836! Is this a TTer who is 2,836 years old? Has hiked 2,836 miles? Lives 2,836 miles away from the equator? Has watched 2,836 hours of the Weather Channel? How do I find this person's email address, I must have missed the instructions to this shindig.

Hey Birch, I don't know how much info about the company was included with that, but it sounded like they really know what they're doing.

So if you're ever accidentally miniaturised in some sci-fi scenario, you can actually use that toboggan, < G >

Mapleleaf, who is NO OLD?

As soon as I went back to work full time, my husband's job starting sending him on lots of business trips. So now I am working and taking care of the teenagers like a single parent. Very stressful. Hopefully things will settle down soon. My husband will maybe find another job and if not we will be poorer but I will have long "honey do" lists for my husband to do so things will be less stressful. For me at least. Hah! I will just have to hide his golf clubs. And motorcycle. Of course, then he will hide my camping equipment. This could be fun.

JB2836, you have an email! You need to send my an actual address so we can send a swat team ... uh.. ornament to your place of choice. But first you must fill out a 100 question survey about yourself for our secret TTer database complete with tent color, favorite hike location and aroma choice.

TILT! Another package came today. Did you do two?! This one was beat to hell by the post office. It came in a little plastic bag with an apology from the post master on it, lol. I wish Birch would get home so he can open it. I hate having unopened packages just laying around looking at me.
