Got the Doors on tap today. It was 38 years ago tonight that I saw Jim and the Doors. Great show at the Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden!!!

Likewise. I only had that one initial jolt.

I'm finally living back in my trailer again and just got my computer back and most of the parts put together. It feels good to be living again and able to listen to your show.

I was living with my two youngest daughters and then one after last summers experiences. I probably told you somewhere that on a camping trip we (Me, a daughter and a granddaughter) only got as far as Las Vegas. I visited two hospitals there, ending up with a defibrillator. Upon arrival home I had some serious blood clots and went straight to the hospital. The blood clots knocked me for a loop, but I've finally recovered to the point that I'm anxious for my Black Belt Test. It is expected to take place soon.

Keep up the great music. The doctors said that the defibrillator should add 5, 10, 15 or more years to my life, so I've got plenty of time to listen.

Your music is coming in real loud as I just turned up the speakers. Some of the old folks in this senior trailer park should be dancing in the streets real soon.

Hey Mr. Beard - I made it over to Eagle River (daughters house). They're not home, so I may have to start drinking beer without them:) I have some most excellent jerky that I made yesterday and that should go well with the Honeyweiss. Let me see if I can get this thing to play some music.

Peace to all my fellow left wing communists.

Thanks for the enjoyable ride. It's always fun.

You know, I bet there are not many others on TT who have riden on a railroad car that was heated by a pot-belly, wood-burning stove. I did it, on a Northwestern train from Chicago to Appleton, Wisconsin. It was about 200 miles.

Most of their cars were more modern, but this particular trip was late on a cold, winter night after the Holidays. It was a "milk run." Rode from midnight until 8 AM. They stopped at the edge of town for an hour or two to have coffee and breakfast, I had to call a taxi to get across town to get to my college classes.
