Treebeard, are you going over to Jack?” 7:56:55 PM 6/02/06 “No, but I am submitting demos to other entities in the near future... Jack did away with the DJ's... last edited: 6/02/06 8:18:39 PM” 8:16:11 PM 6/02/06 Trailtalk Nostalgia ““You may like the idea of putting automation in your programming, but i like the personal touch of a local disc jockey. (Yes, of course I have a little bias in this). Also, if you enjoy making the programming syndicated, more and more homogenous every day and repitition that leaves any artistic integrity out of the programming, then Clear Channel is CLEARLY for you!”” 8:27:06 PM 6/02/06 “hey, WK! Got some Bruce coming right up!” 1:47:31 PM 6/03/06 “Are we rolling out of the station today? 3pm eastern is 11 am pacific right?” 11:39:31 AM 6/10/06 “ouch, that can't be the Railroad. Tom Jones or Engelbert Humperdink or something. Back to www.radioparadise.com for me.” 12:33:02 PM 6/10/06 “3 PM (ok, I was a couple of minutes late!)” 1:55:18 PM 6/10/06 “It was ok there a minute ago, now MUZAK?” 4:10:52 PM 6/10/06 “totally missed it. spontaneous bike ride with youngest son.” 6:45:39 PM 6/10/06 “Sounding good today!” 1:52:50 PM 6/17/06 “Thanks, Chuck! Been trying to post and having trouble. Let's see if this one takes... www.homegrownradionj.com” 2:28:02 PM 6/17/06 “Just tuned in. Hey.” 2:46:29 PM 6/17/06 “Hey Buddy! How's it going? Gonna do some Zappa after this...” 2:57:50 PM 6/17/06 “The Railroad stays in the station today. Have a prior obligation. But....I'd like to invite you to join me and a jock named Bryan Delp tomorrow night at 7 PM. We are honored to have a great musician in the studio for interview and whatever other surprises he may have in store. I was kindly asked to lend a voice in this event. For those who are unfamiliar with John Ginty, he is a master of the Hammond B3. He fronts the recently formed John Ginty Band, nominated for two grammys, played and traveled with the Robert Randolph Band for 3 years, played with Sheryl Crow, Neal Casal, Lou Reed, Citizen Cope and played keyboards on Santana's 2002 Shaman cd. www.homegrownradionj.com 7PM Sunday---July 2, 2006 Here's a link to his site: http://www.johngintyband.com/” 8:38:54 AM 7/01/06 “woah! hope I'm able to catch that!” 11:56:35 AM 7/01/06 “Roam, this guy's the real deal. Up to now, he's enjoyed large success as a 'session' man and part of the backbone of the aforementioned bands. The JGB is his first attempt at front line status. Maple and I saw him in April. They're a jam band extraordinaire. They just jam along for a while, staying on a nice plateau. Then, they have this talent for turning up the burners a notch, then another and another. He even did something called Gospel Jam, in which they play 'When The Saints Go Marching In (not quite like I've ever heard it), then launching into a ten minute tight instrumental that just builds with intensity. Does a nice job on "In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed" too. Tomorrow, night, if he does not play live, then we will play some cuts, I'm sure. Hope you get a chance to tune in. This is some really good music in the Allmans/Santana type vein... last edited: 7/01/06 7:22:55 PM” 7:21:39 PM 7/01/06 “sounds really cool! If I'm around, I'll def tune in. Me and the boy were just talking about maybe grabbing a simple overnighter before his sister comes back home though, so we'll see. Have fun with the interview nonetheless, get him to play live for you though man - tell him he just HAS too! lol” 7:49:47 PM 7/01/06 “Ha! Funny you say that, Roam! I was thinking the same thing. The only thing I have to acjknowledge is that the Hammond B3 is a mother to lug! Ever take a close look at one of them? And his is an oldie that goes back in time with him. Hmmm, mental note to ask about that instrument...” 7:53:53 PM 7/01/06 “Hey Roam! It went great! And we brought the 500 pound beast into the studio. I sat right next to him watching him play that baby. It was a beautiful sight!!!” 8:13:32 AM 7/03/06 “That is supercool!!!!! I missed the show, but dam, what an experience you got to have! Do you guys tape your shows?” 8:22:32 AM 7/03/06 “I recorded it direct to CD. I'm hoping and praying that I can salvage the last disk, as it wouldn't 'finalize' for me on the machine at the studio, for some reason. I'm going to try it here at home. The guy has played all over the world. He played MTV Unplugged and Saturday Night Live (accompanying Jewel) in the same day. He had some great stories. Interesting dude...” 8:35:59 AM 7/03/06 “oh man, i hope the cd works.” 9:00:58 AM 7/03/06 “That sounded like it was fun, tree. Guess I shoulda been looking at TT yesterday cause I was around all evening and coulda listened in. :-(” 9:19:51 AM 7/03/06 “It was a blast. I'm glad to say that he was one of the more interesting musicians I've had the opportunity to talk to. sXometimes they can drone on and on and it makes for very boring radio. This one turned out rather well, I thought! And I have sound on the CD, thankfully. This was the one with all the live music on it, after we dragged the "beast" in..” 11:34:03 AM 7/03/06 “Funny.....I have my settings to show one day of posts so this thread started today with "...we brought the 500 pound beast into the studio. I sat right next to him watching him play..." I had to go back and read the rest because I thought he was talking about the artist, lol!” 12:04:16 PM 7/03/06 “lmao, NC! That is truly funny and unintentional (although I wish I could have set that one up). Actually, if you took a look at Ginty, you'd see what looks like 'the kid from down the block.' Hardly a beastly, overtowering figure..” 8:33:30 AM 7/04/06 “that is very funny NC!” 7:46:55 AM 7/05/06 “Underground Railroad rolls today at 3 PM... Underground Feature Artist: Alan Parsons www.homegrownradionj.com” 6:51:46 AM 7/08/06 “Watch out for Jesse James; I hear he's inthe area.” 6:56:28 AM 7/08/06 “i cowboy? rise from the grave?” 6:58:03 AM 7/08/06 “I saw the cutest little French bulldog puppy at the store this week ($2,000!) and have had Hey bulldog by the Beatles stuck in my head every since. That and YMCA by the Village People.” 6:59:49 AM 7/08/06 “11am pacific. Maybe I should schedule my time to work in the garage about then.” 7:04:40 AM 7/08/06 “Talk at ya later then, pathie! Nigal, Hey Bulldog is a great song. Can't guarantee anyone's going to hear YMCA today, though...” 8:31:07 AM 7/08/06 “I finally get to hear the show on my internet! Yey! Good music. Treebeard, I'm looking forward to hearing your show today...can I make a request? lol” 11:02:47 AM 7/08/06 “got the connection tested, but have to go back to indigenous for now.” 11:47:37 AM 7/08/06 “aren't ya one yet treebeard? I can't take this "perfumed garden" stuff.” 12:14:38 PM 7/08/06 “i can finally listen now that im on broadband! just chillin at helinkas!” 1:41:37 PM 7/08/06 “Tell Hell that MarkO sez hay!! Say hey, babe!! Yo Screwy Stewy!!” 2:14:13 PM 7/08/06 just got back “did I miss any alan parsons?” 2:27:01 PM 7/08/06 “Yup” 2:38:47 PM 7/08/06 “Hey, I can post again. computer was giving me problems before...” 3:46:48 PM 7/08/06 “More Nick Lowe!” 3:52:32 PM 7/08/06 “How much longer do you have? I think I am going to bail and go on a bike ride. idaho and lac coeur d'alene are calling.” 4:10:45 PM 7/08/06 “So no YMCA I take it?” 4:17:33 PM 7/08/06 “Last time I played that, Nigal, they locked me in a room with people dressed like them! Never again!!! Twinks, did you get to hear Nick Lowe's version of "What's So Funny ('Bout Peace, Love And Understanding)?” 11:00:29 PM 7/08/06 “Tomorrow's feature artist: The Good Rats Remember them? Great Long Island rock band. If you do, this will bring back a few. If you don't, then this is a treat and you will get turned on to an incredible band... www.homegrownnj.com 3 to 6 PM EDT” 7:31:21 PM 7/14/06 1:25:35 PM 7/15/06 “Download for Free: "Good Rats" Artist: Dropkick Murphys Featured CD: Sing Loud, Sing Proud http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00005CFFS/103-2593600-6095049?v=glance&n=468646” 1:33:32 PM 7/15/06 “Nice try! :) Hey,Slim!
