from MusicMatch:

Prewar Blues is country-blues recorded before World War II. Prewar blues is entirely acoustic, but there are variations to the style -- it could be acoustic guitars, piano blues, solo singers, string bands, or jug bands. The primary unifying factors are that the music is all acoustic, is usually a folk song, and was recorded prior to World War II.

Well, man, the nice thing about car camping is you can still do it with God knows what. I've been through just about everything the gods of bad legs can throw, and I'm still car camping.

Stay in touch. We'll figure out a way to make it happen. Lancaster is not that far from Philly.

will do if around the house or at work. Got your playlist set?

Looks like we will get settled into Manhattan late afternoon/early evening a week from today. I'll email you if it looks like I can slip away for a brew or two. Leave the next afternoon.

Sorry, couldn't make the train.

My wife FORCED me to go on a day hike. Saw deer, Blue Heron, some aquatic birds engaged in foreplay, a couple of hawks, wild flowers, etc. Although it was overcast the temp was mid 70's. I wish I could have stayed home and listened. ;-}

It's good, though, that you got out and hiked. I will be camping with my scout troop next week, so no show. The week after, however, I have a really cool cover songs show programed. It will feature some very interesting items...

Ok, got a good show lined up for tomorrow. Pretty much all scripted out (how uncharacteristic of me!). It will be an entire three hours devoted to nothing but cover songs. Now, I won't be playing the usual stuff (Van Halen's "You Really Got Me", et al). There will be categorized picks, including several that you may not know even exist. Lots of good stuff on tap!

I have been up there with snow on the ground, I have been up there when I barely beat the flood waters back home, and I have been up there in the sun. If I come back again there will be tornadoes!

Never heard those, Sacco. Maybe I can download some of that tonight. But, like I said, I have this pretty well scripted out and I still have to see how much time my selections, so far, are going to take. I have categorized things in certain formats, too. So, let me see how it unfolds...

How it will unfold:

1. Tree arrives at station.
2. Tree takes crates of CDs into station and sets them down.
3. Tree starts rummaging through crates, CD's flying through the air, some landing near console, some on floor, some in trash can. Station mice huddle in fear. Some CDs fly out of jewel cases and land inexplicably in the CD drive, which shuts from the force of the CD hitting the drive, and music starts playing.
4. Tree frantically searches for CD case of CD playing so he can log it into play list. More rummaging, more CDs land in CD drives and more music plays. More frantic searches for cases and logging.
5. Phone rings. Maple wants to know when Tree is coming home. Tree puts her on hold while he makes an announcement.
6. More CDs fly through the air. Tree remembers Maple on hold. She is now madder than a hornet. Song ends, Tree puts Maple on hold to change CDs, but can't find cases.
7. Rummages through crates looking for cases. Remembers Maple on hold. Maple has hung up. Tree is sleeping on sofa tonight.
8. Gabe arrives at 5:05 and wonders how he's supposed to get his show going with a mountain of CDs and jewel cases all over the station and tree babbling about sleeping on the sofa. The train has reached the station.

And I left out the visits to the Wolfenstein Room and trying to figure out which door you used to get in there.
