“Looks like the mountain gods will be pleased this weekend as we sacrifice EarthNsky & LtHiker the Adirondack Mountain Virgins. What will it be, knee deep in boot sucking mud, icy stream dunking, butt smash on plagioclase feldspar, or impalement by thick mountain spruce?”

“I bushwacked thru thick Balsams in the Blacks and on Mt. Washington. The latter I bushwacked thru the balsams up near tree line.”
