“For the first time in our ten years together, my Bill said he wanted to register "strong objections" to my proposed trip south to Iowa..his concern, as he watches me struggle to breathe, is my health..if my health fails he must "cook for himself, feed the cats, wash the dishes, do the laundry and clean the house", his words..so, as I love my Bill and do not wish to worry him I will not be joining you all down there..have fun and stay dry!”

“Ha, ha, lizs! I blamed the combination of old age, a too small vehicle and my own mishandling. I was sure that they must have fallen and blown under the car(there was a good breeze that morning) or I left the stuff on top of the car. Some maintenance people did clean that area that morning, too, before I returned for a last look. As it is, old age and a failing short time memory were at fault.

Never once did I suspect anyone other than myself. And until now I never even connected the thought that snake eyes(nibblefoot) mentioned buying new longjohns!

Ha, Psychol Squirrel was a better possibility. I have lost things to a squirrel or similar creature previously.”

Weather is pretty nice in Richmond, Va compared to Wisconsin. Sure is funny seeing all those southern boys bundled up against the 50 degree cold. Must be the grits!”
