I'm sure you'll still see some high ranking fellas at the show, doing...ah.....research, yea, that's it...research.

All kidding aside, I think they pulled it, because they don't want to have the flock tempted.

Nothing worse than having stray sheep running around doing this there not suppose to...

Anyone see the interview where Bush came out in SUPPORT of gay unions? This is the kind of flip flop I like. The interviewer said this isn’t what the republican platform says and Bush said he simply didn’t agree with the platform. I like the fact that he can disagree with the party. Of course the left will say he’s pandering.

Here in Ohio we have a gay marriage ban on the ballot and I’m voting it down. Not only would it ban gay marriage but it would put common law marriages in the same category and screw things up worse than they are.

"I like the fact that he can disagree with the party. Of course the left will say he’s pandering...."

Well, it could also be said that it's all just a part of his reach around, I mean his reaching out to the undecides out there.

We have it on the ballot on our state. I will be voting no, as I don't like to admend my states constitution like that. Our's has been re-written so many damn times that it ain't funny. We really have two admendments on the ballot this time around. The other one is a mess proposal that would allow the Casino's to have a monopoly. That has been a fun spin to watch. The pro people are just doing what ever they can to get this thing passed.

The gay marriage issue is something that needs time to be gone over. Long term concerns on this issue could damage a possible solution if we act to quickly on this messure. We've wait this long, what's another few years? This subject is being swept under the rug in hopes that it will go away.......well, ignoring this situation will not make "it go away". We need to talk about this, come to a resolution and move on.

Bush: Civil Unions OK
by Paul Johnson 365Gay.com Washington Bureau Chief

(Washington) President George W. Bush has softened his approach to same-sex unions as he makes his final bid to reach out to moderate voters in the final days of the campaign.

Tuesday morning Bush told ABC's Charles Gibson that he would support civil unions but remains opposed to gay marriage.

In an exclusive interview on Good Morning America Bush said that traditional marriage must be preserved. But, for the first time has added a qualifier.

"I view the definition of marriage difference from legal arrangements that enable people to have rights. And I strongly believe that marriage ought to be defined as between, a union between a man and a woman," Bush said. "Now, having said that, states ought to be able to have the right to pass … laws that enable people to you know, be able to have rights, like others."

Bush, said he continues to support a constitutional amendment that would define marriage as a union of a man and a woman, because he is concerned about what "activist judges" will do without clear guidelines.

"Look. If you're interested in preserving marriage as a union between a man and a woman, there is one way to do so, without the courts making the decision. That's through the constitutional process and obviously I think that's the way to go, because I am concerned that courts are making this decision. This is too important a decision to have a handful of judges making, on behalf of the American people," Bush said.

The president said he would leave the issue of civil unions to the states, but said he also would not be opposed to granting some of the federal rights and responsibilities of marriage to gay couples.

Bush's new position puts him closer to Democratic candidate John Kerry. While Kerry has said he opposes same-sex marriage, he does not support a constitutional amendment, and supports civil unions.

When asked about his indecisive answer during the final presidential debate on the question of the origins of sexuality, Bush also has a new explanation. Bush told Gibson that he's open to the possibility that nature could be the defining component when it comes to a person's sexuality.

Bush's new approach drew immediate condemnation from Democrats.

"One week before he loses his own reelection can say whatever he wants in an attempt to grab voters but the American people are smarter than that," DNC spokesperson Brian Richardson told 365Gay.com.

"For four years this president has failed and misled the American people and has discriminated the GBLT community on every possible occasion."

LGBT civil rights organizations also dismissed Bush's comments.

"After years of promoting discrimination President Bush's attempt to reinvent himself a week before election day will not persuade voters," Human Rights Campaign President Cheryl Jacques told 365Gay.com.

"President Bush's election eve conversion to support civil unions cannot be reconciled to his efforts to amend the constitution to ban civil unions."

Bush's new position could cost him votes from his Christian conservative base.

“Civil unions are a government endorsement of homosexuality,” fumed Robert Knight, director of the Culture and Family Institute. “But I don’t think President Bush has thought about it in that way. He seems to be striving for neutrality while defending marriage itself.”

Knight called for a Constitutional amendment that would also ban civil unions.

The head of another group, the Campaign for California Families, said it, too, wants a sweeping constitutional amendment that bars civil unions and same-sex marriage.

“Here’s the truth, civil unions are homosexual marriage by another name,” said Randy Thomasson, the group’s executive director. “Civil unions rob marriage of its uniqueness and award homosexuals all the rights of marriage available under state law.”

“Bush needs to understand what’s going on and resist counterfeit marriages with all his might no matter what they’re called,” Thomasson said.

White House Officially Recognizes Homosexual Unions and Parenting?

HUNTINGTON, Conn., May 30 /Christian Newswire/ -- On May 23, 2007, the White House, silently and without any fanfare, released an official White House photo of Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne Cheney, welcoming their sixth grandchild, Samuel David Cheney, into the Cheney fold.

...

If the Vice President and his wife Lynne are joining their daughter Mary in playing this homosexual game of "house," then all have chosen their roles and designated lesbian lover Heather Poe as the "Daddy."

Everyone knows there can only be one REAL biological Mommy. We are all grown adults. Playing "house" is a game for children, not for The White House or the Vice President and his wife.

*HEY! nice slam on adoptive parents everywhere!!! you’ll never be REAL parents to your children, so you might as well ship them back to the orphanage, right?*

...

I guess we can tragically and officially say both the White House and Bush Administration have officially recognized the sinful sexual unions of homosexuals, as well as recognized and embraced the tragedy of the social experiment of homosexual parenting.
