hey Gem, what about an overnighter in PA with Pennsy and me. We're hiking 25 miles on the Link Trail in central PA and camping at a fire tower. It's supposed to snow a little bit too. I know, I'm evil.

where abouts are you planning to go hike?

12ish miles each day. The snow will likely be a dusting. We don't get much snow in PA anymore, except for the occasional blizzard, which subsequently melts 24 hours later.

Remember about this time last year we were in Red River Gorge enjoying Fridge's lemonade and jumping on hotel beds? I still have the video of that night. Muuuhahahahahaha

yeah...I just ordered me some winter boots...no more cold feet for me...so who knows....12 miles aren't too bad.

I think they get there in 5 days or so, so not for this weekend. did you see? good to up to minus 40!! yeah!!!!

I got them for $96 because they have the price guarantee and I found them somewhere else cheaper. not bad.

ahh, that was some trip, up on ole Roaring Plains. We slept in until atleast 10am each morning and it was pretty darn cold and snowwy up top. If I remember correctly, my stove remained pretty cold too.

that was the mostest snow I had seen since a while up there. I miss snow.
we slept until 10? really? I never sleep until 10? I think. LOL I didn't get my coffee that morning...I sure didn't forget about that.

That would be Bob. Temps were only about 20°.

Actually, the inside of the Tipi can get rather hot, going outside for short periods to cool off isn't uncommon.
