“haven't fallin off one in a while. The time on the Black Mtn trip was because 2socks led us off trail and we were walking on an unstable ledge along a steep cliff. I stepped on this ground and it went from under me and down I went. Luckly there was a root and I grabbed onto it and then Topherac then pulled me up.”

“Goin' nuts..redoing kitchen..went camping for 2 weeks..1 day car, an overnighter kayaking trip (up in the Northern Highlands American Legion State Forest-Wisconsin), 8 days car camping near my folks in Charlevoix, Michigan, 2 days kayaking again in the NHAL S.F...trip ended badly, my $400 Leica got caught on my anchor and went overboard..30 feet to the mucky, weedy bottom in a moving kayak..lost..I cried..

Health kinda OK..lost too much weight this summer..not only haven't gone bping once since Yellow river but only did one, short dayhike..too much work at home..are you coming up to Prosecutor's for our hike at the beginning of October? I plan to repeat my wimpy Yellow River hike by parking my car nearby..at least I'll be able to see trail friends again!”
