I can't driiiiive 55!View MessagesViewing posts 1 to 3 of 3 messages posted.
“Al Gore speeding through Oregon in a gas guzzler Hey, driving 75 mph in a 55 zone is no big deal to me. Neither is driving a large 4-door sedan. But why do so many liberals who make the "environment" their key issue keep driving these gas-guzzling SUVs and big 4-door sedans when there are lots of much cleaner and better gas mileage vehicle opportunities out there? Kerry drives around in limos and SUVs (apparently his wife and kids own them, but not him, he just uses them, ha ha!) and he has his haircutter fly in on a gas-guzzling private jet for a quick trim (wow, that's great for the environment, imagine if we ALL did that, or at least if all the "environmentalists" did that, whoa!), and now we find Al Gore driving 75 mph in a 55 mph zone driving a very large sedan. Wassup widdat? Despite breaking speed laws, doesn't driving reeeally fast suck up more gas? And doesn't driving in a large 4-door sedan suck up lots more gas than other options he could've chose? That's a rhetorical question, no need to answer, because the answer is DUH! I think these guys should be role models of what they're suggesting others do, not the worst offenders. Imagine the energy consumption and loss to the environment if every American had multiple mansions and private jets and lots of gas guzzling vehicles like John Kerry. Yep, he's the environmental-awareness dude. Just like Al "Speedy" Gore. Or is that Al "I can't drive 55" Gore? Maybe Al wasn't really driving 75 and he's gonna call for a mph recount. Anyway, I have a Taco Bell craving, I think I'll fly my private jet up to Redding to my favorite Taco Bell, the ones around here just aren't quite as good. Oh, and I love the environment and you should all drive hybrids. Carry on.” 1:36:52 AM 8/20/04 “I agree Kerry should drive something different. How about this baby: 8:01:35 AM 8/20/04 “Okay, let's try this one then: ”8:05:53 AM 8/20/04
