For 2011 I am planning to bag a few more mountain huts, if anyone else is interested.”

“I'll probably try to get another couple of CO 14'ers next summer.

“Loki (my dog) picked up #33 and #34 of New Hampshire's 48 4K plus peaks now last weekend. Somehow, I'm more enthused about that milestone for her than my own lists.

I'm getting close to having done the NH 48 all at least twice, but am thinking more of getting to all 48 in winter or getting to New England's 100 highest. Have two Maine peaks left for the New England 67 4K peak list.”

“Thanks. I used to not like day hiking that much, it was a tease going out into the mountains and having to come back the same day - but I'm starting to get into it.”

“Just got back from a trip to the mountains. It started with 4 14ers in CA:

Then I went to WA to climb Mt. Rainier (with guides again, cuz I'm such a wuss). The highlight of that trip was camping in the summit crater:

“It doesn't look like I ever posted on this thread before, which is amazing since I so love to brag. As much as I would love to write a long report about how awesome I am, the pictures do a better job for the general public.

IMG does a great job. I was really impressed. I hung out at the RMI facility because I had a room there before & after the trip. There were a LOT of older people having conversations about how they thought they were prepared but didn't make it up. IMG purposely does things differently so the summit day isn't such a push, and I think they would be better for first timers.”

“I have no talent as a photographer, but pictures of terrific scenery usually turn out well. You'll see plenty of terrific scenery on your trip, Gem.”

“I haven't messed with any lists outside New England. I had a peak bagging spectacular on July 11th - 12 New Hampshire 4K peaks in one day (38.5 miles). I felt great after 31.5 miles 11 days earlier, but this one stopped being fun towards the end. If the weather holds, I will try another peak bagging butt kicker this Saturday. Will try to post pics of the 7/11 hike when I get my act together.”

“On a recent hike I encountered four peaks along the way. It was a lucky day; and I was able to get dates with both of the pretty girls behind the peaks. Both of the dates were very enjoyable.
