www.mickiesplace.com problem ?

“Has anyone ever dealt with these peeps? I ordered a Marmot "never winter" from their clearance sale for $139 on april 15th. They only had long and left hand zip left in their availibilty chart. It did not matter to me, so I ordered it. I paid with my Paypal account (A nice feature they offer). So the payment was sent and received immediately. I sent quick follow up email asking if the order was confirmed. In this email I also asked if they had the Bora 40 still available at approx $140? I recived a email back stating that their where none left. I assumed they meant the Bora 40 ?
I assumed my mistake. When in fact it was for the bag. So here I'm waiting for my new bag to come a week goes by and I'm trying to be patient. but the waiting for gear blues made me pick up the phone Thursday 4/22 and call. I called and talked with the girl, she was kinda stressed due to what ever was going on in their office. So I was nice and sympathetic and then asked her about my bag. She said I sent you a email saying we where out of the left zip... I explained that I had asked 2 questions in that email and had assumed it was for the pack, my fault the ole ASS-out U and Me" So I said well it does not matter what zip I will take any zip ya got with a smile and a laugh. she said she would email me with what they had and to email her back and she will send it asap. Well I waited all day Thursday and part of Friday. NO EMAIL! So I get back on the phone and call again to get a guy, who I think is the owner and explaind quickly whta I was calling for. He was not apologetic or barely even concerned and said hang on. He transfered me to a phucking VM... so I left a message and waited again....Friday afternon... no response... they got my money and cant reply! WTF! so now Im getting a little frustrated... but I kept my cool.... Over the weekend I did some ebay searching and found that "mickieplace" had listed a few Arroyo's on there. one they had a starting bid of $179 and another they had a starting bid of $199, so I figured I would call back on Monday and ask if I paid the extra $40 bucs they would send me an Arroyo, Remember they had all Maromot bags on Clearance.... So I called 915am Monday 4/26 and talked to the same girl who again seemed wicked busy.... she looked on ebay and saw the bags... She said she would give me one for the $199. I said well what about $179 starting bid one. I said I'm going hiking this coming weekend and needed a bag... She said "we cant do that".... I said well I really just needed the Never Winter bag for the fall spring summer and wanted a down bag. I found a deal and was happy with, but their system was not updated and they made the mistake. I said I really did not budget the extra $60 for a bag.... she said "ZIPPO nothing nada"....Remember the whole time I never got a sorry from anyone, in all honesty I actually apologized to them a few times just because I felt bad...Finally I was about to blow, so I said, "okay forget it just send my money back to paypal and I will scramble to look for another bag"....She said in a pissy tone, OPK I will send it back" click!
I recived my money on the 29th.... 2 weekes they had it... no bag, no sorry, we phucked on our end... no consideration to even try to please a customer, sh-tty communication.... I dont know maybe I was to blame... I just know they will NOT get any my business or referals.... I should known better then to stray from BBinkley and www.backpacking deals.com

Anyway, sorry about your experience. yes, that sucks.

We moved from CA in Dec 03 to Tennessee and were physically building our store (which opened in June 04). All our stuff was in boxes and crates scattered about everywhere. No one knew what was going on or what we had. It really sucked. And our service really sucked.= then.
