We headed for the San Gorgonio Wilderness. Dayhikers ready to make the transition to weekend Backpackers. The weather forecast was for possible scattered showers. No one told us about the impending snow storm. But such is the life of a Backpacker who travels through the mountains.

Trip report is wth the pictures:

Loved your trip report and photos as always. Your surprise snow storm took me back to Tuolomne Meadows and my surprise snow storm. Great fun! Glad that everyone had an adventurous spirit.

Generous thing you did there.

Under those conditions, you have to wonder if anyone in the group thought that little thought...

"Why am I doing this?"

Awesome pics. Wish I could be there. I like that trail.

Very nice of you to put that all together! I'll bet everyone enjoyed it.

Sorry I missed tarbubble and nav on that trip.

Dang! 93 pictures! Took me forever to browse them. Couldn't help but laugh when I saw there was a guy named Oskar, lol. Great pictures, looks like it was fun. Would love to meet you someday WLD.

The surprise snow storms are the best.

And I've got to admit, the West is the best.

Yep Tango, you never know what to expect in the mountians. :)

Naviguesser, no worries, it all worked out. We need to get together so I can give you back the items you left for us to use.

TekDude, I am sure that happened to most of them. It would be a natural question... LOL, but we always seem to come back, don't we!

WindWalker, while I was watching them, that is what I thought they were. They were not hawks. Their wingspan was at least 6' across.

Phil, I wish you could have made it too, but I am not sure the Beginners could have handled the VCB.

Dub, it would be great to meet you too. Hopefully we can hook up on a trip someday.

Thanks all, I am glad you enjoyed them.
