I am guessing this is what rad is referring to. After almost 2 years, I had completely put it behind me.

Bottom line is that a time when I was emotionally crushed, I got an email with a virus attached from a yahoo mail account. I didn't have a clue whose account that was, but it appears it was rads.

I tend to lean toward the idea that there was no connection between the virus and other events. So, as far as I am concerned, the matter is closed. Any further discussion can be taken up offline if necessary.”

Things are not always as they seem.   Return addrs on emails can be spoofed.   In fact, when viruses propagate themselves through email they have been known to insert other email addrs from the infected computer's address book as the sender.

I witnessed a side-effect of this sort of thing 6 or 7 years ago... and again a few months ago:   an email bounced 'back' to me that I had never sent.   Someone with my email addr on their computer had been infected.”
