What was your best backpacking trip of 2003?

Mine HAD to be Yoho NP in the Canadian Rockies! Thanks Hodgeman!

Unfortunately, I used up too much of my leave this year on silly trips to Florida with my family. Maybe in the coming year I can go on some real backpacking trips.

Hard to say, but perhaps the one to Maryland last week (Blair Witch). It was the coldest I ever camped in and got to test my stamina a little...

If I had to pick only one I guess it would be the Northville - Placid Trail. 10 days, and 122 miles through some of the most remote areas of the Adirondack Park. I think we saw 18 people on the trail the entire time (most were on the last day).

I think I'd say that was the best so far as well. I love hiking in the cold.

I didn't really have a favorite. All the TT hikes were great. Hoping to do many more this year and also hoping to meet more of you. The best times packin' are always with great people.

Hmmm... gotta be Yoho or Sierrapalooza, but which one?

Both fantastic trips with great prople. I guess since it was my first backpack in California I'm gonna say Sierrapalooza. I love a good road trip.

But, if I could only ever go back to one place or the other, I'd have to chose Yoho. It's without a doubt one of my very favourite places on earth

Woodland Caribou Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada, June

Defintely by far the best. Saw a big bull moose from 50 feet and a black bear and lots of other smaller critters. Bonus, the loon chorus was OUT OF THIS WORLD!
