Green Timbers Rec Area

“Anybody ever been up to the honeymoon cabin at Green Timbers Rec area (Michigan). I keep thinking this would be a nice little snowshoe hike for an overnighter of fun at peak snow levels in March. This is a popular spot... so competing with boyscots for space could be a problem.....and who wants to be on their best behavior during a bag nite?..NOT. Anyway, I've only been as far as the green timbers cabin for a bag nite and some fishin. (caught a cute little rainbow...took pics..thank you). Anyone been to the honeymoon cabin?...need feedback. Do ya think this would be a good March trip? Would anyone be interested in a trip like this? For those of you not in the know...the cabin was turned into a shelter by having the west wall removed...but still has a stone fireplace inside. Tarp the open wall...toasty warm? Fun exploring in the area..found a bomb shelter in the side of a hill. Anybody?...class?..cclllaaaasss?”
