I was so bored I had to watch reruns of saved by the bell.” 6:20:15 AM 2/07/04 “thats pretty bad Dub. My kids don't even like that show.” 8:49:05 AM 2/07/04 “yea that show is awful” 1:32:52 PM 2/07/04 “I havent watch tv in 4 months :) I am tempted to turn it on now!” 5:26:43 PM 2/07/04 “Damn, 4 mos. I went a long time without cable, like about 6 mos. I've had it back for about 6 mos now I don't watch that much but I do like having it.” 5:37:54 PM 2/07/04 “eh, i'm not a big tv watcher” 8:18:45 PM 2/07/04 “youre more of a medium-size. except for those hips. they could use some trimming” 8:20:30 PM 2/07/04 “i keed! i keed! you have a perfect body” 8:23:10 PM 2/07/04 “If yall haven't seen it yet, rent the movie Radio. Watched it tonight, it was really good.” 10:45:08 PM 2/07/04 “Damn the board is dead tonight. Is everyone on the Ocala trip? Or do the ones not on the trip have dates that we'll hear about tomorrow on "Dating Sucks"?????????” 10:48:05 PM 2/07/04 “i think it's about time for bed... no, i'm awake, i'm here... keep my eyes open, drink more pop, yeah, i'm good” 10:49:54 PM 2/07/04 “i'm awake, what's goin on??” 10:58:00 PM 2/07/04 “"youre more of a medium-size. except for those hips. they could use some trimming" Thanks! Maybe you'll resurface the nightmares of my eating disorders :P” 12:48:49 AM 2/08/04 Lost in Translation “I watched this movie tonight in the theaters. It was a pretty good alternative movie. However, it was one of those movies that has more to it than what you see on the surface and I completely missed the underlying plot. So I guess I'll have to rent it when it's out on DVD and watch it again to see if I can figure out what I missed.” 1:36:01 AM 2/08/04 Book Worm “Lately I've been reading a lot. Mostly books by Dean Koontz. However, I've ordered some classics like "War and Peace", "Letters from the Earth", "Great Expectations", etc. Someone recommended Nicholas Sparks books...however, after looking into his genre, it seems that he only writes sappy romance novels. He was the author of that movie, "A Walk to Remember" which was okay. Any suggestions on one of his books? Which one is the best?” 2:20:08 AM 2/08/04 “Slackers! This thread should be well over 3,200 by now!” 2:52:38 AM 2/08/04 “Never heard of Sparks Dub. I read a short story collection last summer that Koontz did - it was GREAT! Koontz is one step removed to the wierder mind group than Stephen King. Very similar plot development but very different writing styles. I would suggest anything by Anne Rice for pure entertainment value - She makes a pretty intense read in the Vampire series and in the Mayfair Witch books. Read them in chronological order though or nothing will make any sense.” 7:44:04 AM 2/08/04 “i watched "one hour photo" and "identity" last night. both very odd movies.” 8:20:13 AM 2/08/04 “ya I didn't much care for One Hour Photo - too dark for Robin Williams. I've seen identity but it's been a while - don't recall much about it.” 8:25:06 AM 2/08/04 “multiple personalities” 8:36:07 AM 2/08/04 “multiple personalities” 8:36:30 AM 2/08/04 “multiple personalities” 8:36:53 AM 2/08/04 “LOL!!! at all three of you!” 8:40:00 AM 2/08/04 “:) :) :)” 8:41:20 AM 2/08/04 “One Hour Photo was a good movie. It was one of those rare freaky movies that made you think, "this could happent to me." And I like that. I can't remember what Identity is about, but I'm sure I've seen it. Roam, I like books about witches, etc, like the Crucible. I'll have to read some of the books by that author you mentioned. I really like Koontz, Icebound and Dark Rivers of the Heart were two phenominal books. I would love to get my hands on a copy of his book, "The Book of Counted Sorrows," however, there were only 1,250 of them printed and they go for about $200 on eBay...I wonder if they'll wait a couple years and release it to paperback?” 10:01:58 AM 2/08/04 “maybe so Dub, I read Icebound a couple of years ago, it was captivating. Can't remember the short story collection name, but it was great - it's in a box still or I'd go look.” 10:39:48 AM 2/08/04 Jump to Page << prev
