They play their song, "Meant to Live" on MTV all the time...surprised you haven't heard it. As for the show, they had some terrible band open for them...the other band that was supposed to be there didn't show so the terrible band played more. They didn't do the sound correctly so you couldn't hear any of the lyrics and the highs were turned up way too far. Tickets were $13 at the Newport Music Hall...general admission...the concert was sold out. I met some of my friends there who secured us a good spot in the pit near the stage about 10 standing rows back. They only played for about an hour and half, one encore with two songs. Overall the concert was great. Tons of hot chicks, met a couple new ones. Went to a chick friends' house afterwards and hung out with a few of them. About 1/3 of the songs played were acoustic/slow, the rest were rock and they rocked the house. The lead singer came down and crowd surfed while holding a microphone and still singing--he didn't miss a word...very impressive. At the end of the show they tossed the guitar pics and drumsticks into the crowd. My friend Christy was two standing rows in front of me and got hit in the head with one of the drumsticks which landed on the floor near me. I knocked over three big guys going after it. I got my hand on it and some chick stomped my hand in an attempt to take it. I grabbed her foot (still smashing my hand) with my right hand and flung her 80lbs ass to the floor off of my other hand--winning the drumstick which is now laying on my dresser.
