The one that I said was love at first sight. No, she doesn't backpack--I don't think she's got a lot of money and can't afford the gear. And she doesn't ski. However, a bunch of my friends (about 20) want to go to one of our friends' cabins at a ski resort up north. So we get a free stay at the cabin, lots of girls (10 or more) and most importantly, the girl that I really really like will be going and will need someone to show her how to ski. This is kinda perfect for me as she's kinda shy and when I fall head over heels for a beauty my balls shrivel up and I'm not myself--I end up being quiet, shy, etc vs. loud, outgoing, etc. Anyway, I didn't plan the trip...the girls did...the problem...they picked the same weekend as the Sipsey hike! I've been looking forward to Sipsey for about 3 months now. I would get to see a ton of waterfalls, meet some people I've talked to via IM for a long time, and do what I love most...backpacking. However, the ski trip means I get to spend the weekend with a bunch of attractive, nice women, one of which I am madly in love with and would love to get to know just a little more before asking her out (building a good friendship is important in my opinion if you plan on keeping a chick). So what do I do...go to Sipsey as I've been planning for months? Or ditch everyone at Sipsey to chase some tail? And I should add this girl is rare--she fits all of the qualities I look for in a perfect find. What should I do? It's been bugging me for days. I've said that if I have doubts continue as planned and go to Sipsey.
