Simer, first thing you need to do is sign up for an Epinions account...but PLEASE wait a couple days before you do so I can figure out how to put you down as a referral. I am an "advisor" in the outdoors category--there are only three advisors in the category who rate the thousands of outdoor reviews. That means that when I rate a review it carries more weight than a normal user. You want to write reviews that are "very helpful" because they make the most money. You also want to be the first to write reviews on a certain topic...that means you get all the money for that topic vs. competition with other writers. I make about $23 a month on Epinions.com but that is because I have 37 reviews that have been online for awhile, are all highly rated, and most of them are the first review on a particular subject. Don't expect to sign up, write a couple reviews, and make a ton of money--you won't. The real money starts coming in after two things happen. Once you have quite a few reviews (about 20) and 2. your reviews have all been scanned by search engines and come up during a search (takes 2 months to a year for a search engine scan). More clicks by random people = more money. That's why I post links here so you guys can click for me :-) The most I have made on a review is $10.25 and the smallest $.02. The trick is to pick a topic and write mostly for that topic...like outdoors. Now you can write for other topics like destinations or computers...but if you only write one or two you won't make much money--if you write a bunch in each category you will make more money. So I suggest sticking to one category at first or just writing a ton of reviews. Any questions just ask and if you guys are really interested let me know.
