Who GETS to work this weekend?

“Visited w my bro in-law & sis in-law Thurs nite, they're BOTH foremer hi-flyng professionals, my bro-in was a VP at Intel...now they're both unemployed & have been for a long time withy nothing on the horizon.

My current job absolutely, positively SUCKS, but I'm trying to hard to appreciate the fact that I have one.

So,... I saw free's thread (who "has" to work this weekend) & thought I's out a positive spin on it..

Hey I am going to go backpacking for 3 days next weekend becuase I told my boos that I am not digging the overtime and it is pissing me off and I think he got the point.

But our company is now ready for the high voltage market as well as all traction motor work.

“My business is experiencing a record year.

Not a good year, a record year.”

“No its not we too have also have had a good year.

Traction Motor work has been up about 50%.

Stator Coil work has been up about 20%.

All DC Motor & Field coils and interpole work has been up about 50% also.

I think we have about $300.000 on the books right now for Norfork Southern R.R alone for this month alone.

“had as much fun at work as I did this weekend! I got to work on the cardiology floor taking care of heart surgery patients which I liked for 2 nights. Then ta-Da! Last night I got to work in the IMCN or neonatal nursery. I had four babies to hold and take care of! 2 preemies and all of them baby boys. I was asked to come back to work there again which I surely will. I'd sit and rock them and spoil them silly. They were good babies for me. I was told they had been problem children til last night. All men just want to get snuggled up and held and spoiled. Ya just got to know how to put the whammy on them.”
