I am starting to build an ark for all of us TTers in the Midwest. I may need some help putting the finishing touches on it before the next thunderstorm inundates us again. In the Chicago area, we received another 2 inches of rainfall last night, AGAIN.

How is everyone doing with all this rain?

So do we tree. Hungry little suckers everywhere! Reminds me of Canada, Quetico Provincial Park.

The Mississippi River (at Memphis) is higher than I have seen it at this time of year in a long time. It wouldn't take much to send it into the plains between the river channel and the flood walls.

That would be about 10 to 20 square miles of flooded crops across the river from Memphis.

That sucks chili. The Little Calumet River that flows through my town is about to overflow. It last did this when I was a senior in high school. An entire sub-division was submirged for weeks.

Not here, it hasn't rained in over a month. Been in the upper 90's now for about 1-1/2 weeks.
