Things are going good down here in Huntsville. My next hiking trip is with Katibug on July 25th in the Smokies. I'm looking forward to it.

Also, sometime in November, I'm gonna hike the AT from Davenport Gap, north, to the Nolichucky River. Should be about 100 miles and take a week.

“hmmm, well, i am packed up and ready to head to colorado. I was throwing my gear into the rolling duffle earlier and thought i would just check and shake my tent out for the heck of it and discovered the poles were missing. I have torn the house and car apart and cannot find them...sigh ...o dear, i gotta buy a new tent when i get out there...durn..
did anyone who went to Lost Cove spring hike find blue tent poles for a north face canyonlands....? oh and i cannot find my sleep pad either.....
i love new gear.....:) and i have a whole day in denver to shop tomorrow..hee

Strat..sounds like my zoo. We had two hamsters loose at one time. One met it's demise in the fan of the frig..ka chink ka chink! The other was an Eric Rudolph fugative for many moons and made a nest in the back corner of my son's closet...literly chewed a hole in the carpet down to the base flooring!!!”

“so last night I'm trying to pack for this weekend.
phones are ringing (cell & house phone)
but the kicker was, my son dec'd to let the pets stretch there legs a bit.

so, Ive got this cute bunny hoping around the house (yes, i got to pick up the present's it left me)
and the hamster in the hamster ball rolling all over the house.

i found myself yelling at the hamster "why can't you go roll over there instead of right where i'm working"

Now working on the agenda for the weekly staff meeting... and need to talk to all my project managers to get their input.

“Off for 3 weeks. Was in Lake George for July 4th. Normally this is a great fireworks show over the lake but disappointing this year. Spent a little time in the Catskills & earlier in the Finger lakes. Would love to have a home right on a finger lake. (All vineyards) I'd miss my daughter, son-in-law & grandson though on a daily basis. Just came down from the Adirondacks last night. Haven't decided what I'll do today yet. Only 1/2 week left :-(”

“Hey Binks, how's it going? I've had an extremely busy, stressful week myself. My new job has in the orders of magnitude more responsibility more than my old one. I'm LOVING it ¦ ) !

PS Mapleleaf: My house rabbit litter-trained extremely easily, yours probably would too. Just put a small tray of litter in it's cage at night and then put it on the floor where it can find it easily during the day. Make sure you show it where it is. That's all I had to do and I never had to worry about little presents ever again. Well, at least not until now. He's nine years old and he's starting to have little accidents occasionally. We're currently discussing the Depends for rabbits option...”

“I was just at Seneca Lake last week doing the winery tastings and seeing the Watkins Glen waterfalls. The lake was really beautiful and so many people had houses perched at the side of the the lake but high up. Very nice.”

I had an eventful week...um let's see tortured a new victim at work ( I mean trained a new auditor) ...tortured my car repair guy (I wish! hes hot..he did touch my muffler though..lucky little honda!)...tortured my family, that comes natural.
