First, I would like to say that everything has been resolved. That true to what I've heard about this company, the customer service is as excellent as the product. I will be sure to rave about how fantastic the hammock is once its trail tested!

NOW

However, I am very disturbed that someone from this board would go out of their way to contact the Hennessy's and say that I had said that they had refused to refund the mistake. This was NEVER, EVER said. I said that I was unable to get in touch with them (different time zones). It was my bank that could not intercept the transaction.

I am very, very, very upset about yet another "stalker" type incident.

Who contacted them and told this lie? It was very upsetting to myself and the lovely people who run this business?

Unacceptable. Whoever you are. It was an unacceptable action and you lied. And you interferred in MY personnal matters in a way which - regardless of whether or not I post my momentary displeasure at an unfortunate and stupid mistake (although the online order form was giving me a hassle here at work)- does not EVER give you the right to call someone, LIE to them, and attempt to handle matters which are NOT YOURS.

I expect you to apologize to the people you lied to and about.

Not nice.

You really need to chill, Twink. The situation has been successfully resolved and you need to let it die. Glad it worked out for ya. The folks at Hennessy will bend over backwards to help once you contact them.

FG - when I spoke to the woman at the company - she told me that someone had called her and said the above stuff to her. It sounded like she was very upset by this. I don't know - I think that was a bit nasty and out of line for someone to do.

Here's an idea - why don't you work at work, instead of surfing the internet, posting on message boards, ordering stuff, and otherwise transacting personal business. Poor Creek Dancer was just laid off. She'd probably love to have a job, and here you are with one, but instead of working, you're screwing around on the internet.

This is why I am so upset about this person's actions (a snipet from correspondance regarding the matter):

"...we are getting phone calls and emails about the unhappy emails you have sent to message boards about our poor customer service. Is there anything we can do about this? We do not want you to be unhappy but we also are sad that
there are these bad postings about our company..."

Now, you tell me, do you think this is cool? You people are crazier than I am!

Hey, people want Hennessy to explain what the heck is going on. Maybe they were thinking about buying a hammock and read your belly-aching and thought "Hmmm, maybe I should re-think my decision about buying a Hennessy Hammock." So, instead of taking your ridiculous and immature screeching at face value, decided to contact Hennessy and get their side of the story before making a decision.

twinkle toes...you may need to let this one go..you came on the board screaming and yelling and going insane..things got fixed like i told you they would if you just slowed down and let things catch up...your going to make yourself look very dumb...if you haven't already to most of us here. you keep it up and your only going to alienate yourself.

Tom and Ann are great!! They have always bent over backwards to make sure a customer is happy. Whoever said whatever about bad customer service or whatever the situation is must have never dealt with Hennessy Hammocks. I will say from experience that they go above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and taken care of. Tom is the kind of guy that will talk to you for an hour about the right type of hammock and making sure that it will work for you. Or if you are needing to ask a question, he will totally sit there and talk with you and not rush you off. Hennessy Hammocks is one of the best outdoor companies when it comes to customer service and standing behind the products they sell.

Twinks-I don't know what happened in your situation but I just wanted say The Hennessy Hammock people are awesome!!!

if someone mistorted your words, that is really effed up

BUT

let that be a lesson to ya. dont post on a message board bad things about some small company that could very well be made or broken based on your comments, until you have exhausted every last avenue or until they call you a lying dirty #&%!$

Hennessy Hammocks is one of the best outdoor companies when it comes to customer service and standing behind the products they sell.

I guess they'd have to be, considering the flimsiness of their product.
