Its the latest weapon against terrorists. A terrorist who wears lipstick isn' entitled to 40 virgins. They are in the process of testing the sundress rounds.

I don't have many guns but the ones I do have are as customized as it gets. My dad who is a gun dealer has over 50, a good friend has over 30 but I doubt if I'll ever hit the 15 mark. I just go for extra high quality in the ones I have.

Kühl.

My Sunday-go-to-meeting 20 ga. is a joy. It put a big chink in my former marriage, but, hey, I still have the gun (it's about priorities).

I only own assault style weapons. Well... I do have that .22. But... mostly assault weapons.

a .22, a 12gu, a 16 gu, a muzzleloader, a paintball gun, and a bow.

not bad for a bush hatin' liberal, eh?

well sacco you pretty much covered the best choices. A shotgun, a .22 and a bow, the other stuff is for fun. Not that the others aren't.

Two 12-GAs, an SKS(Chinese) and an HK.40USP. Eyeing the Glock36 right now, and still want an AK.

A .22, a 20gu, a .30-30, and a bow. I'd like to get a nice muzzleloader when I can scrape up the cash for one.

I grew up back when muzzleloaders weren't new fangled and techie. I don't like the new ones. Especially Savage's smokeless powder muzzleloader. It takes all the fun out of what muzzleloading used to be. Granted back then it was a mess to clean but that was all part of it. A shot with a muzzleloader was done at less than a hundred yards, now they are too much like a regular rifle.

No enemas but the weather is finally getting warm enough for a super soaker battle. My 8th grader has his end of school picnic this next week. The communists at the school district have already sent home warnings that no water baloons, water guns, or water fights will be allowed. What happened to letting kids do kid things?
squirrelbait

So would it be wrong to fill up water balloons and go to the park the night before and leave them all over the place for the kids to find? And do with them what any kid would do with a "found" water balloon?

they're quickly replacing shotguns in southern NY where rifles are illegal.

they also work well in northern NY where most shots are less than 50 yds anyway

(muzzleloaders, not waterballoons that is.)

Yeah that seems to be the case. They are rapidly gaining ground in shotgun country. That is the case here. My question is. If you are limiting a weapon because of ballistic properties how can you not limit a weapon that has basically the same properties as a rifle even though it only shoots one bullet.

zac, if you like your 30-30 i would think you'd love a muzzleloader.

30-30 is a great brushgun.

a muzzleloader is even better, and with the new powerbelt bullets you're good to 200 yds

looky...very first time I have ever shot a gun in my life... pretty good huh?

stop laughing...yeah I saved it!!!
Oh...and no...I haven't missed any. you can count, should be 50 or 60 bullets. If you can't count them all it's because some of them are overlapping.

I got rid of most of my rifle/shotguns when hunters fired at me (accidently) on my own rural mountain property. The ignorant habits of a few shooting at running deer, shouldn't reflect on all. I don't disparage hunters or hunting but decided I would probably shoot the next guy that shot at me, so I quit hunting 20 years ago.

I did have bear trouble much later on. The new neighbors were feeding him & he became a problem. I ended up buying a 12ga pump should he become too much of a problem. Seems my other neighbors aet him.

Glock .45, Firestar 9 mm, M1 Carbine, 30-30 carbine, .303 Enfield (Now more a museum piece than working rifle), Freedom Arms .22 modeled on the Colt .45 of the old wild west, .44 caliber Army model percussion cap six-shooter.

The Glock .45 is my favorite to shoot. It has a laser sight, but I don't normally use it for target shooting.

Oh yeah, My M1A1 Abrams tank is a sweet shooter, and the optional flame thrower attachment is good to get fires started in the wettest of weather. The comfort level leaves a bit to be desired, but what the hell, it's great for bushwacking! And with the .50 caliber machine gun, hell, you don't have to be loaded down with a lot of food. The grenade launcher is the best for dealing with problem bears. They only come 'round once. And if you get tired of your hiking partners, the smoke attachment leaves 'em confounded. Now where did that Geobeet get to?

Sheesh Geo, the grenade launcher only launches SMOKE grenades, not the kind that blow up. Granted they are White Phospherous, and would burn like hell, but they have no destructive capabilities through explosion. The smoke attachment would chase people away because all it is is fine mists of diesel fuel sprayed onto the extremely hot (900 degrees F) exhaust ducts, causing a billowing white cloud of stinky diesel fumes. The comfort level of an M1A1 is awesome, especially the driver's position. Imagine sitting in a La Z Boy recliner with complete body support while driving a 73 ton tank.
