“Went to see the Trenton Thunder Friday night. They are a farm club of the Nu Yuck Yankmes. God help me, I even bought a Thunder hat.

The real attraction at Trenton is Chase the Wonder Dog, a golden retriever who fetches bats and balls during the first inning, carries a basket with bottled water to the umpires halfway through the game, and catches frisbees late in the game. Chase is worth the price of admission.

Then they have Christopher, who doesn a one man, four dummy impression of the Village People. He made three appearances during the game. One would have been sufficient.

Oh yeah, they played a ballgame, too.

I love minor league baseball. Just two and a half weeks of it left!”
