the play that Utley made was every bit as good as Jeter's play at the plate a few years ago...

They're expecting 2 million for the parade today. SEPTA transit is overwhelmed. There were about 200 people waiting in groups along a bus route I took to get back to the office, and one bus doesn't hold half that.

And the celebration came off without any serious incidents. People are giddy. Phillies fans just don't quite know what we're supposed to do when they win the Series. But it seems to be fun learning.

I do love a parade.

Fans are taking pix of the players and the players are taking pix of the fans.

Have they ever had one of these parades in New York?

Hip #%&*ing surgery!

I think they let Tad Iguchi get away. Oops!

At least we have a reason for his end of season woes and a solution, hopefully.

Personally, if I'm this guy, I legally change my name to Joba Chamberlain. That way as long as I don't say that I pitch for the Yankees, they can't touch me.

i see nothing wrong with this at all...

Some ballplayers want them to release the names of the other 103 and some do not.

Gee, gosh, gee-willikers ... I wonder which group the juicers are in ...
Geobeet

The government said none of the names would ever be released. Now they'll prolly want to prosecute everybody.

In Texas the clubhouse was full of juicers - it was hard for me to believe A-Rod wasn't doing it. But why hold press conferences to say nothing? Maybe McGuire is the smartest one of the bunch - or Giambe who appologized and kept on doing it.

Manny, even you are not too big to be busted.
Remember when Barry Bonds would play in an opposing team's stadium and the asterisk signs would be all over the place? Well, I want all of you righteous Dodger fans, Yankmee fans and everyone else to put a big asterisk on baseball in general. If the commissioner had any guts, he would have rid the game of this a LONG time ago.
