“Breaking rules, walking into the forest, meeting Voldemort, ... that's the story of my life!”
“Yeah, okay, the Nimbus is already two years old. Time for a trade-in.”
“and the story of your life has to be very interesting to be able to last 7 books! I wonder if we'll read about you working at the Ministry of Magic, then your kids (with Hermione, Cho or Ginny???)face the bastard kid - "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named-Jr"...”
“I dunno Geo, a couple of good-lookin' guys like us...who'd doubt that we were related?
And BTW, chess, now there's a dangerous game...esp. if you are the King.”
“That might be Fritz, but I don't think they'd buy the idea that you were my father. Of course, for a couple of wizards, we could come up with a viable explanation.”
“I am having doubts that the 6th and 7th book will ever be written. At least not by JKR anyway. Wasn't the next book supposed to be in the bookstores when the first movie opened? I know the publisher is saying all is in good order, but if you had the means to jetset around the world at a minutes notice, attend functions with all the great dignitaries and celebrities around the world would you be all that interested in writing any more of the same old story?
I hope someone keeps the series going, though, because my family and I love them.”
“J.K.Rowling said she never promised a date for the 5th book to be released... she said the media promised something she never said.
I love the way her imagination works, and I think maybe she is lacking some ideas, and feeling the pressure...It must be tough for an author to feel so much pressure.
The 4th book was very thick, but at some points I thought it dragged, wasn't as exciting as the first three.. but I;m sure she was being pressured... I'm curious about the 5th.
I'm sure there will be authors out there wanting to continue the sequel, it's guranteed fame and money! But I wish it was written by someone who would overlook the fame and money side, and did it simply for the pleasure of writing...”
“The 4th book was huge. 700 plus pages. I was surprised my 8 yo read the whole thing. I am sure it is tough to come up with new ideas, but about her saying she never promised a release date, well she has enough money and clout to say she anything she wants. I am fairly certain the publisher felt she had a date set for release, but who is gonna tell JK what to do now.”
“Not a mere Muggle!”
“I do though! I hated when the book ended. To think that we have to wait another three years to find out .........”
“Have you tried those HP jelly beans? Holy sheep shoes! I tried the black pepper and was burping it up all night! I wasn't brave enough to try the ear wax or booger though.”
“I'm about halfway through now. Really good book. Good stuff.”
“I just got started and am about 100 pages in. I had to finish my latest Ken Follett spy novel before I could start Potter 5”
“Nigal, my kids had to have some. Not knowing Jack Schitt about Harry Potter at the time, I didn't think much of it when they gave me a couple.
I felt like I had a mouthful of peppers and grass on the first bite. They were nasty.”
“Heheheheh, should we ruin it for them LyndyS?
Sauron and I are going to have a tough time of it for a little while, G00SE hasn't read it yet. I guess we'll just have to be careful when, where, and around whom we discuss it.”
“I love harry Potter. funny im watching the first one right now on HBO.”
“Treebait finished it in under 24 hours. Sick.
I finished a couple of days later.”
