Yeah the Steelers aren't in the Super Bowl yet, but I think the Steelers will get there and will roll over the Cards.

Of course, I may he biased by annoyance that the Patriots went 11-5 and the team they clobbered 47-7 less than a month ago is going to the Super Bowl while the Pats don't make the playoffs. So it will sit better with me to see a team with a better record than the Pats and which rolled over the Pats ends up winning the Super Bowl.
Logic plays into it as well,if you compare the Cards and Steelers in December '08 at Foxboro - you can't help but think the Cards will be crushed.

Dear Andy, Donovan, et al,

Football games last more than one quarter. It is not considered good to not show up for the other three. Please do a better job in the future.

I'd love to see McNabb go somewhere else and give it a shot. Like maybe Chicago, a team that hasn't had an NFL-calibre QB in forever.

anybody know when the last time a 9-7 made the superbowl? i remember when jim harbaugh almost took the colts to the superbowl nearly 15 years ago. that was a very thrilling game

that hail mary pass at the end could have easily have been called the wrong way. instant replay showed that it was incomplete, but live and full speed, it looked like a touchdown. im sure that played a big part in instant replay challenges being reinstated the next year

Speaking of the Superbowl...

I'm watching it with an out-of-towner. A waaay out-of-towner.

She's here in the U.S. doing one of her NOLS gigs. On Sunday, she's flying from Idaho Falls to SLC, then on to ATL - where she's scheduled to arrive at about 3:30 P.M. She will be here until Tuesday.

The plan is for me to pick her up at the airport and take her to a downtown hotel. She's taking a couple hours to herself, then I will escort her to the Carasol Lounge in the atrium of the Hyatt Regency. There I will wine and dine her as she enjoys her first ever Super Bowl.

All this hinges on on-time flight schedules, naturally.

Oh - who is she?
She is our one-and-only Eurohike, of course!
