“LOL I do like football. Every Football Season I try to understand a little more about the sport. I sit in the Kingsize recliner with hubby and he teaches me about it or tries to. I am actually starting to get it! Last Winter I learned alot. He asked me to lay on the couch with him & snuggle and watch Monday Night Football. I didn't want to watch it but I did like the snuggling part. ;-)
He said "Tell me what you see on the screen. And I don't mean YOUR version of what you see. I mean Lucy..... you got 5 minutes to 'splain!" So I did explain and to my suprise...... I got it right!
I found that by turning the football field and the plays into a math problem..... it made sense to me. It is actually pretty neat. It will not likely ever be my favorite sport, but at least I know what is happening now. When I go to my kids ballgames..... I like the fire baton twirler best and "Evil Kenievel"( the drum major). I want to be them. LMAO
That and the band shows at half time are real pretty. I like the referee's and am practicing learning their motions and knowins what their calling. Its funny too. Personal foul: holding. Is my favorite as a Mom. I have learned that one perfectly and use it often to mark off penalties against my kids.”
