I finally had surgery on my right eye and can now see out of both of them! Friday night I had lung surgery on my left lung. Everything went great and I was out of the hospital on Monday morning. This one was the easiest yet and I only have a little ache on my right side. No coughing up blood this time either and I haven't taken pain meds since they took me off the morphine pump Saturday around noon. Yesterday I hiked 4 miles and felt good. What a great Christmas present and a great way to start the New year. Hopefully, no nodules come back anytime soon I won't need another surgery for a long time. I had to wait 6 weeks for that to heal before he could work on the right one. I think I'm not as sore this time because the tumor was likely on the surface of the lung and not deep. I didn't ask so I'm just guessing that's why I'm not coughing up blood this time.
