I got my PET scan results back and they were good. Only that one lung nodule appeared and it's still the same size as last month. No cancer activity in my mouth, neck, head or anywhere else. That was much better than I ever expected. I finished my antibiotics and my infection came back a day later. I had a fever yesterday, but started a new round of meds and it's gone for now. Ana's friend had called and asked if I had a two person tent (ya doh!) so I brought one for the two girls. After it was set up, her mom said it was a one person tent and wouldn't let her sleep in it. wtf - doesn't everyone backpack and care about weight, space in the pack, etc...?? LOL...so last I knew they were bunking with another girl who had a big tent. Plus I assumed they would be setting up and taking down their own tents, which I guess they don't...I'll do better next session. :) Austin told me on the drive out that he has been in the Director's office twice - third time they get sent home. So I talked with the director and counselor...guess he has listening problems, no surprise there. He apologized to the director, and today he'll be doing the same to his counselor.
