I won $250 at the "Hole" a couple of nights ago and blew it all on fuel for the vehicles, filling up every gas can I could find, stocking up on groceries, motor oil, WD40 and some butchering implements. Chappy, Bambi hangs in repose in the pole barn doing a little bit of "aging". He will be parsed out this afternoon, but more than likely tomorrow. The temp isn't getting over 40, so all is good...in theory. DH, good story about the wallpaper. Had to ride my bicycle about one mile to get to the hospital. The two hours there were fun; lots of beautiful nurses kept close to me. They must have heard about my prescription for 70 Viagra pills! In the evening I bicycled a block past the hospital to the gym. My daughter and I have three cars, but only one is operating. Becuse my defibrillator is so well padded, I was having fun throwing people to the mats. Even did some of it wearing a blindfold. The hospital has a beautiful, new addition just for heart work. I stayed in this section, when I returned from the trip West. But they are closing the rehap section on Dec. 21st. They have a big plan for saving money by getting rid of a lot of employees. They were not even going to let me have rehab. I had to call someone high in organization. She was very helpful and had them admit me. The program was 12 weeks, but they cut back to 8 weeks dur to a cut back by Medicare. Still unhappy with $75 per hour they are dropping the program. So now not only the insurance companies are deterining what health care we can obtain, but the Gvernment is in on it, too.” 7:41:53 AM 11/15/07 “Good Morning hugs.......ok...so I went to the Eye Ear Nose & Throat guy.....I have an infected saliva gland ( which was feeling MUCH better by now) and he put on a glove and pushed & pulled and squeezed it...I almost cried...damn...so he said LOTS more water, lots LESS caffine...lemon drops to stimulate saliva...warm compresses....Loratabs...and I have to milk the puss out three times a day....ouch..... ...so this am I get up and BOY does it hurt....and is sooo swollen again....can't take the Loratabs & go to work...so...
