They do not believe in vaccinating. They think that vaccinations are associated with autism and other rotten stuff. You simply have to have a waiver form for school enrollment. We use a D.O. who refuses to give us meds unless we're on our deathbeds, prescribes steam baths and vitamins, etc instead. I trust him and his opinion very much and he recommended the vaccinations for Ab. It's hard to know what to do on every little thing regarding your kid. Good luck with your research. If we do decide to follow the generic vaccination plan that the doctors recommend, at least we'll know what we're getting into! I just have a general distrust of the medical profession (especially when it comes to pregnancy, childbirth, babies, etc.), and wouldn't subject a baby to all those shots without knowing a lot about them...especially since there's so much controversy about it. The athletic trainer at G's school is laying with her feet in the air in the hospital, pregnant with twins. SHe's 24 weeks and was experiencing labor on Tuesday. They stopped labor, but obviously things are rocky from here on out. I'm going to put a care package together for her.
