With some X-country skiing thrown in for extra joy! My new, free (love REI dividends!) Exped Downmat 7 was delivered yesterday by our wonderful mailman who actually walked up our treacherous driveway to deliver the box rather than leave me a note in the mailbox at the bottom of our driveway that I have a parcel to pick up at the post office. So, I have a new winter tent, a new sleep pad, a new Coleman catalytic heater (I will try it out but don't usually find the need for tent heaters), a new Montbell inner down jacket, a new Marmot Women's Typhoon Jacket which is wonderful in wet snow! and most of it I have bought on sale or close-outs! The roads will be clear enough for me to take Bill's truck to the laundrymat then all my unpleasant chores will be done and I can PLAY! and, after Wednesday night, Bill has nothing to say to stop me as he owes me...eh eh eh... Mostly sun on both days. I will be alone. It is a beautiful place to snowshoe and X-Country ski. I have new skiis. There is LOTS of new snow! I live 1 mile from the trailhead so no driving time!
