The weekend pond tour went really well. We had 17 visitors and 1 well behaved dog saturday, and 26 visitors sunday. We met coworkers of friends, friends of my parents which was wild, and a retired executive ceo of bank of America who was very cool. Nice guy, and his wife's a hoot. I think our yard looked fantastic (4 cubic yards of mulch hides a lot of sins and sand) and of course we had an algae bloom yesterday, so I had to keep tossing kibbles in to get the fish to surface for the visitors. I managed to fry the biofilter (removes nitrogen compounds) a couple of weeks ago, my bad. I enjoyed the hell out of sharing my yard, house and pond with these people.
