Chilly here, 38 degrees but clear.” 6:34:27 AM 12/19/05 “I was given a job posting at school this weekend. Now I have to try and figure out a resume today. Never have had to write one, ever. Thank goodness for computers and internet examples! You guys have a wonderful day!” 6:38:24 AM 12/19/05 “Good luck on the resume, Sass. G'day.” 6:39:54 AM 12/19/05 “Good morning. Stayed up late trying to update the list with bagnights. When I sorted the Christmas Ornament Exchange List, I somehow destroyed both the bagnights list and my sort program. Melbourne, FL, 61°F. --> 69°F., A 20 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, Chappy - AOL Radio is still playing WQXR. It hs been running over 2150 minutes or almost 36 hours. So it appears that the 2-hour limit for non-AOL members is gone. Have a great week.” 7:33:53 AM 12/19/05 “Ok, technically its still morning. :) Just got home from being up north. Had a nice weekend with my family watching the kids open up Christmas presents. Almost 3-year-old Cinderella-wanna-be got a Cinderella costume, and absolutly would not take it off! She slept in it. Oh, to be a kid again! I have the next 3 weeks off of school, and will be working 1-2 days a week, and various other errands and wedding planning things. OH, gotta finish the Christmas cards too! Sass, if you want someone to proof read your resume, just call. :) Have a great day, everyone!” 11:03:03 AM 12/19/05 “Smiley, how about writting it? lol, just teasing. Thank you, I may take you up on that!” 11:42:43 AM 12/19/05 “I'll be working on my resume as well. I have to do one for substitue teaching, can you believe that?” 11:55:13 AM 12/19/05 Hugs “ Melbourne, FL, 55°F. --> 68°F., Overcast. The transit Have a enjoyable day. last edited: 12/20/05 6:21:02 AM” 6:17:21 AM 12/20/05 “I'm up. Today is one of my last days working as an engineer. Yea! Divinity have fun putting up your tree! I hope you can talk someone else into stringing the lights, lol. Shopping(groceries), and baking still to do for me. Also alot of cooking and packing for Texas (yuck). Sigh, I need an extra day or two!!” 6:44:02 AM 12/20/05 “More goat for Sass!” 9:11:17 AM 12/20/05 “I finally got Laurel cleaned up, fed and presentable this morning so that my parents can pick her up and take her to that place of ultimate temptation... Toys "R" Us! That's going to be a frightening zoo today. Better them than me. :)” 9:32:44 AM 12/20/05 Hugs 5:07:21 AM 12/21/05 “Winter is here. There's a bit of a nip in the air...right around zero. Not bad. Low 50's here and dry. Just ordered my 4 doz luminarias. ABQ goal is 3 million lights on Christmas Eve to celebrate 300 Years of ABQ. Satelitte photo to be taken. I went outside to feed the yard cats and it was cold, easily in the 30s. Then a thick heavy fog started rolling in, and I can feel the temperature in the house drop. Dang it's chilly. I guess I need to dress warmer.” 8:22:53 AM 12/21/05 “Morning all. The post office sure is quiet at 8:15 Am when it opens. Got my package sent to my brother in seconds. I'm trying to decide whether to work tomorrow or not. Apparently there's work for me to do, just not sure if I want to spend the time here or finally give myself a break. I have so many things to do before student teaching starts that I'm starting to not sleep well again! But, the money here sure is nice. Tough call. Hope everyone has a good day. We're supposed to get a warm up, so it'll be a good time to get the packed-down snow off my driveway. Its actually a job I enjoy. :)” 8:24:53 AM 12/21/05 “Smiley, if given a choice of working or not, there can be but one answer. Hell NO!!!” 8:28:23 AM 12/21/05 “Well, my dear friend, I've decided that the Chistmas cards can go out late and Gordie can do the laundry. I'm coming in to make the big bucks. Working these 3 days will pay my rent for the next two months. Ya can't beat that!” 9:08:48 AM 12/21/05 “Wow, I got up before Nowslimmer. I'm back up north again. There's some plumbing issues in my house and I'm here to fix them or burn the damn building to the ground. The good news is that there is enough snow on the ground that I've been skiing three times in the past two days. I'll be out there at least once more today. Winter is tolerable if I can ski or snowshoe. Have a good day.” 4:34:56 AM 12/22/05 “oh I am up time to head to my bloody nowhere job.should I go snowshoeing instead and play hookie, would be alot more fun 30 mins. to decide” 5:01:26 AM 12/22/05 “Stay HOME!!! =) Good Morning everyone.” 6:21:29 AM 12/22/05 “I think I'll play hookie today and go snowshoeing. The boss is very understanding about that sort of thing.” 6:23:54 AM 12/22/05 “I wish I could play hookie and go for a bike ride. 58F few high thin clouds today, same into the weekend. New bag of Guatemalan this AM. Another Christmas party today at work.” 6:51:36 AM 12/22/05 Hugs. “Good morning from Melbourne, FL., 45°F. --> 65°F. Mostly sunny. The computer was so cold this morning it would not start. I had to put a heater near it to warm it before it would start. Reminds me of trying to start a car in a Minnesota winter. Makes me wonder if the automobile industry is somehow tied into the computer industry. Have you ever tried to use your keyboard, while wearing gloves? T'aint easy! Have a great day. last edited: 12/22/05 7:02:50 AM” 6:55:43 AM 12/22/05 “ok...ok..I'm up!!!! morning hugs to all.... two more days of work...and then a 3 day weekend...woo hoooooo!!!!!” 6:58:08 AM 12/22/05 Hooray! “LOL! Birch just walked in the door. He went to work and decided he'd rather not be there today. Must be something in the air today. =)” 7:07:49 AM 12/22/05 “Hello world.........Good Morning all, glad to see your home again Nimblefoot. Hello Nowslimmer, good music on the net lately, heard the Hallelujah chorus yesterday, now if I can get the whole show I'd be happy. Four days till launch on my fifty miler........man, I've packed and repacked my pack 20 times already. My wife is ready to kick me and the pack out the door. Final weight will be about 30, when my buddy takes some of the load off, since I got all the food, stove, tent, etc. So when I peel some off and he takes it, we'll each have about 30 lbs to carry. This is my secret to lightweight backpacking = bring a friend along to carry some of your stuff, lol.” 7:52:12 AM 12/22/05 “LOL! I just called into work myself, and they were pretty wishy-washy about having something for me to do, so I'm not going in after all! YEA! Have a great day, everone!” 7:53:30 AM 12/22/05 “I'm up finally. I slept in until 9:20, when the DHL delivery woman rang the doorbell! It's the first time in quite a while I got to sleep in like that. Actually, since some little girl was so wound up yesterday and wouldn't even stay in bed until 11:30, it's still very quiet and peaceful around here. Laurel's still sacked out!” 9:07:50 AM 12/22/05 “yawn im up for the third time today. darm plumbers woke me up at 9:00. o think i did sleep inbetween bangs and yelling.” 10:19:36 AM 12/22/05 “...morning hugs to all.........it is Friday...I LOVE it........I am going to celebrate tonight with Bailey and Hot chocolate!!! ....frost on my car for the 9th morning in Lower Alabama.......I am freezing here....” 7:12:35 AM 12/23/05 “We're having a melt today. It's 33 degrees outside already. It'll probably rain today. =( I want to keep our snow!!! (boooohoooo hoooo) Our Christmas marathon starts tonight. All I have to do today is make one fudge mint torte and relax. I look forward t it. Happy Friday Everyone!!” 7:27:10 AM 12/23/05 “Yawn....stretch.....I'm up. 36 here and clear. The birds and squirrels are on the feed box and having a time of it. Counted 13 squirrels one day outside the kitchen window. My wife don't work today so it's cookie makin time, and Peanut Brittle.........ummmmmmmmm.” 7:40:53 AM 12/23/05 “It's warm here too. I don't know what the temp is but it's foggy. Not good. I've been too lazy to widen my driveway this week. It will be more difficult if it starts melting. :( Two of my three kids chose to stay home from school today. I gave them the choice. They are so Christmas crazed I figure they won't learn anything today anyway. Maybe having one less child pinging off the walls will help the teacher's sanity. Ho, ho, ho! Have a GREAT holiday everyone!” 7:48:54 AM 12/23/05 Hugs. “Good morning from Melbourne, FL. 46°F. --> 68°F., Mostly Sunny. No snow sledding here for Christmas. My government weather forecast says, "Christmas Day:" Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high around 73. Windy, gusts to 25 mph. I chcukle because all the other days have their respective names. The 25th is not given "Sunday," or "Holiday." Have a great day, er, have a great Friday, er, have a great Holiday Weekend. Ah, hell's bells with it, have a great Christmas Weekend. last edited: 12/23/05 8:03:33 AM” 7:57:48 AM 12/23/05 10 minutes is not enough, Matt. “Final edit, I hope. Good morning from Melbourne, FL. 46°F. --> 68°F., Mostly Sunny. No snow sledding here for Christmas. I asked Santa for "a wagon" for moving my laundry, groceries, etc. and for a child's chair to sit on when doing low tasks like changing a tire or cleaning the refrigerator, etc. My government weather forecast says, "Christmas Day:" Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high around 73. Windy, gusts to 25 mph. I chuckle because all the other days have their respective names. The 25th is not given "Sunday," or "Holiday." Duluth, MN, 33°F. --> 35°F., Patchy drizzle through the day. Traffic warning for tonight - look for Santa Claus after midnight. Have a wonderful day. last edited: 12/24/05 4:29:06 AM” 4:27:49 AM 12/24/05 “morning nowslimmer” 7:32:06 AM 12/24/05 42 degreers already “good morning all. why am i up? no reason. it is going to be a scorcher today. in the 50's that means all the birds will be out in full force! where are my ear plugs? should I clean or go back to bed?” 7:40:36 AM 12/24/05 “Good morning everyone! Today is the traditional mad dash to get the house cleaned for tomorrow day. Of course I have to factor in getting several 150 gal bins into the back yard for transferring the fish. Monday's the day we start tearing up pond 1.2 (with collapsing sides) for pond 2.0! Whee! Cooking, cleaning, and fish duty!” 7:44:01 AM 12/24/05 “don't forget to spread the sunflower seeds for your noisy neighbors.” 7:44:14 AM 12/24/05 “need a fishing rod? what are you doing in the back yard?” 7:45:00 AM 12/24/05 “Nope, I need nets! We're repairing and enlarging our koi pond, Mapes. It's something HPM and I got hooked (bad pun) on this past spring. We have way too many fish already, but they are one hell of a colorful collection. Our koi club has 2 koi auctions each year, and when the spring one rolls around we'll probably be making some donations. Koi fish always find a home around here. I was amazed to learn how many people in this town have an interest in koi.” 7:51:57 AM 12/24/05 Jump to Page << prev
