I recall the weather being much nicer than that of Chicago. Maybe I was just lucky. I used to have a couple of t-shirts that read: London Rome Adak PS - A good number of people in this area have been to Adak. They used to include Adak in the weather forecast on TV here. And I have even seen a bumper sticker, "I Love Adak."
