It was raining early in the morning with temps in the low 30s. By 11:30 AM, it was snowing heavily and the wind was blowing and gusting. The temperature dropped like a rock. I went out to vote last night and there were drifts right across all the road. The plows just couldn't keep up. I cleared the driveway with the snowblower about 5 PM and by the time I finished 1/2 hour later, there was another inch of snow where I had started. The snow banks are now 5 feet high from the driveway. If I wasn't using the snowblower, I'm sure they'd be 10 feet high and I wouldn't have anywhere to put snow.
