Whelp, today is the day. The past 6 years have have taken me to this day. Saturday, I had my last show. My kids at school were great, they gave me a very thoughtful gift and I got choked up. I really hate the idea that I'm leaving; there is still so much work to be done. I look forward to the what the future holds and letting my children guide them in their early years; however, I just cannot shake my feelings/hatered for my bosses. I have had to make a serious desesion because of thier harrassment, mismanagement, bull#&%!$ politics and overall lack of respect for me. It's very sad that I put my life on hold for 6 years and this is the end result; right back to being unemployed. Looks like all those years of going above the call of duty never paid off. I have never been in a place were I was not rewarded for working hard. It's almost like I threw those years any way. On the good side, I was able to work some real bright kids and I think I might have made a positive impression on a few, which is what one hopes for when in Education. That's that part I'll miss the most; working with those types of kids. It really gave me hope for the future. On Friday,I found out that the school is moving forward with an idea that I presented to them last year (which they turned down). It must have been approved before I put in my letter; they never told me it was approved. They were planning on doing this without me. Bassturds. The personal side of me want that situation to fail, just for revenge; however the professional siude of me doesn't want that because if it fails, it would hurt the education of the kids I worked with.
