“My young colleague in the next cubicle has just gotten her first taste of Sierra Trading Post, courtesy of yours truly. She is planning to do some day hiking and camping up in the U.P. this summer and was wondering about hiking boots. So I gave her my STP shoe catalog that had arrived the day before, showed her the website, and she scored big. A pair of $200 Lowa trekking boots for $29.95! They only had size 5, which is her size. She brought them to work this morning to show me. Sweeeeet. Made in Germany and leather lined with a nifty ventilation perferation system in the lining. Now that she has the boots, I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the full blown infection begins to show symptoms. Especially once the catalogs start arriving every week.”
