Lowe Netherworld “I was thinking about purchasing the Lowe Netherworld 90. I have been doing some research on it over the internet but most of the sites show what must be the older model while REI shows a newer looking pack. Also the manufacturers site does not list it. The price is discounted at REI, this leads me to believe that the pack is out of production. I will be happy with any info on this pack or reviews. Thanks a lot” 4:56:02 PM 5/02/02 “Sassafras has a netherworld ND (narrow dimension) 70 that she loves. I will pass on your inquiry...” 5:30:11 PM 5/02/02 “Hey Waker. I absolutely love my Netherworld 70. The set up is great pocket wise, it's held up for the past 4 years like a champ. It is the older model. As far as I can tell there's not much difference between the old and new styles, the new just looks more streamlined. The new also has an air circulation system for the back. But how well it works and if it makes any difference I don't know. The only problem I have with my pack is the bottom (sleeping bag) compartment is sometimes hard to get zipped. There's nothing to hold onto while you zip to keep the fabric taut. I could easily sew a tab or something on but have not yet. I do have the smaller version though and stuff an average size bag in there, tight fit. I paid $139 for mine and would buy another. It's a very comfortable pack. It's a bit heavier than some you could buy but the price was right for me. It's served me well so far.” 8:19:17 PM 5/02/02
