I completely understand how by not admitting you were right or wrong, it could be concluded that you did not claim he was wrong. I got that.

The reality I have a problem with is that you answered in a way as if to say by following the text you provide, he could find the answer to his question in the affirmative.

You can deny that was your intent all day long, I don't care. People with common sense know that was your intent.

You did not want to admit you were not giving factual information, so instead of admitting that you tried to lead him on a wild goose chase.

You've been caught. Use logical fallacy terminology all day long if you want to, I don't care. You've been exposed for the fraud you are.

Perhaps you get it now?

... perhaps not.

You know I see both of the arguments and my only question is..."WHAT IF YOU ARE WRONG?"

What does it matter? There is about 50 years worth of sustainable oil supply left. For that reason alone we should be moving towards alternative energy not to mention all of the political benefits of not being bent over the oil haybale by the Middle East. Time to make some of that money back from the Chinese (or pay off our trillions of dollars of debt) after they have a billion cars and nothing to run them on.

Hey Q?

Where exactly can I find the location of the cat on the moon?

In this log-book you say?

You didn't disagree with my premise that there is a cat on the moon, yet you tried to lead me to a source which does not answer the question as asked.

It's called a dodge.

That's funny. 25 years ago I was taught there is 20 years left.

Maybe we got different scientists in there investigating this stuff?

What if they are wrong about candles causing fire in homes?

What if they are wrong about the seatbelt laws?

What if they are wrong about nuclear waste being bad for you?

What if they are wrong about the Earth being "round"?

What if they are wrong about gravity?

What if they are wrong about terrorism?

What if they are wrong about how planes fly in the air?

I will not add to what I've said regarding what I have said. There is plenty of proof for "the gallery" as you say, to make their minds if you were trying to spin.

I will comment on a new issue by pointing out this fact that you've resorted to twisting my words into claiming I made a concession, which I obviously did not, and your childish "debate??" technique of saying "if you post anything else, you're admitting your point is shallow".

That's idiotic. I'll also let the "gallery" decide for themselves. The difference is I know I'm right regardless of what others think. You obviously need their approval to justify your stance. Another sad commentary about you.

WOW I am betting Laqtose (the Intolerent) got rejected for the Debate team manager job...

What if they are wrong about candles causing fire in homes?

UH huh...well we have pretty much HARD CORE evidence about this ...you do know that? Besides if we use care with the Candles how does that DESTROY anything?

What if they are wrong about the seatbelt laws?

WHAT DOES IT COST? Hey the rates of injury and death are DOCUMENTED to be less if you are locked in.

What if they are wrong about the Earth being "round"?

LOL...wow...so you were stoned in kindergarten History class? Laqtose the INTOLERANT, once again if we were REALLY WRONG what is the damage done?

What if they are wrong about gravity?

ONCE AGAIN WHO DOES IT HARM? What is the bad in believing in Gravity?

What if they are wrong about terrorism?
Then we are missing 3000 people and the Fire Department New York is missing 200+ firefighters for nothing.

What if they are wrong about how planes fly in the air?

UM gee once again we have proof...but what IF we discovered it was MAGIC that held the aircraft up? Well WHO WOULD HAVE BEEN DAMAGED BY BELIEVING IN IT

Each of these is symptomatic of a life spent in pursuit of academica...they are slothful and ridiculous...Each one differs from the GLOBAL WARMING hysteria by the fact that NONE, ZIP, ZERO, NADA requires that I radically change my lifestyle to please someone else.

the Global warming crap is th pursuit of BIGGER and STRONGER government. It is the typical assault on SUCCESS becuase the people leading the assault are unwilling to take the time and go with the WORK to be successful. Rather than taking the chances and accetping the failures to eventually try for success they would rather ask MOMMY government to control the successful people so they (life's failures and leeches) won't feel so bad.

Sale I am not saying there is not Climate Change....there probably is, since there has been in the past. What I am saying is that the entire gist of the Global Warming crowd (VIA the Kyoto crap) is that it is rather suspicious that the only nations that have to control their societies are the truly free and First World Societies.

"It called trying to claw something out when you've gotten your ass handed to you all day by me." - laqtis

laqtis, that happens to sarglo every time he gets into a discussion/argument on here. He does one of three things - he either whips out a personal attack, or claims he is being personally attacked, or he starts debating the inane minutiae so that you end up getting so far off topic he makes you forget what you were really debating. Like today.

And no, this isn't a personal attack sarglo.

sarglo - it doesn't matter if it takes 20 or 100 years to run out of oil. The bottom line is we are running out of it and will be completely out of soon. 100 years is still soon.

XL - why can you understand that its very easy to cut our emissions and not change our standard of living? I've done it personally. I've chopped 25% off my electric bill over the last year by making small improvements that haven't changed my standard of living in any way - I get just as much hot water as before, the house his just as warm (or cool), etc. We can do the same as a country.

Tech I don't think you have a realistic grasp of the demands of the Global Crowd. Have you checked out the Kyoto Agreement? it was not a simple matter of changing to Flourescent bulbs etc it was a direct attempt to get us to PAY the rest of the world for our actions.

You have the third world scuzballs demanding we pay them for us being successful. You know the guys like Kofi and Company who have raped their nations demanding we now pay them because we have been successful.

Now if you want to change what you do GO for it. JUST don't go out and tell me how I have to live.

I agree. The only reason I even spent the time with him was that I had absolutely nothing else to do today for once. I haven't been able to play "wack a troll" in a while.

XL - Its about either cutting our emissions or paying the other member countries in a market system if we don't. Since cutting our emissions would also cut our use of fossil fuels (especially those coming from OPEC), it would actually improve our position against the "third world scuzballs". A double plus.

False assumption. Not cutting back on fossil fuels empowers countries like Saudia Arabia, Iran and Venezuela over the United States.

Cut off the supply, or justr limit it and we are hurting.

Global warming is still debatable but reducing the level of pollution and toxic waste we dump in the enviroment makes good sense anyway as does reducing our usage of oil.

Sorry I missed the fun, OKAY LACTOSE et al...the reason I oppose this hysteria, it starts out as >>."OOOH LETS SAVE THE PLANET VOLUNTARILY" we have the self serving ribbon wearing, the plant a tree in the middle of the highway (so it will die) then we get the nose of the camel under the tent and we start getting...

"IF YOU DON"T PLAY OUR WAY VE VILL FINE YOU UNT VE VILL MEK JU VANT TO ...."

One piece of junk mail....WHOOP TIE DOO...these are the same wackos who want multiple killers to be UNDERSTOOD and LOVED and CARED FOR....

Socialists have always worked incrementally, you start with voluntary stuff until you can get enough control to FORCE stuff down people's throats.

So now lets see...SUV's(THE BIG BAD cars)....why does someone get one...hmm..BECAUSE THEY CAN AFFORD IT MAYBE???? It is called Freedom (check it out some time)

Lactose...I grew up in the real cold war period, and I saw how creeping incrementalisim destroys freedoms. Global warming hysteria is just the next tool in the Socialist text book.

Now here is a neat plan, if Global Warming is so DANG GONNA HAPPEN...lets eliminate all funding for the unnecessary stuff, Art, Museums etc hey they were privately funded for thousands of years. We can put that money into saving the planet...OOPS forgot the Government FREEMONEY CROWD wouldn't like that.

I find Enviro Wackos as no different than the Ultra Religious of any other religion (and it is a RELIGION gang). If you do not believe what they do, you are doomed to die and suffer. Their leaders as a rule are the most hypocritical (Paul Ehrlich with the Redwood house, ALGORE driving SUV's...heck most of the wackos go to their protests in SUV's) and you eventually find out that unless you become a mindless robot to them you are "A SINNER AND DOOMED".
