“O.K., now I_m getting a little concerned. Kansas, the uber-basketball program of all times into infinity, is still playing the cupcakes into the month of December. Sure wish they would have stepped up the schedule just a little bit. I am guessing that Coach Self estimated that the youth on the team would make an easy schedule necessary, but games like last night-s against mighty Alcorn State are worse than inter-squad scrimmages.
I am looking forward to whipping up on the likes of Purdue. =)”

“WK, if I could give Purdue the #1 ranking at this point in the season, I would. I know how much it must hurt to watch the Jayhawks dominate the #18 team in the country by 32 points. But, I'm sure you will find some way to make this look like an inferior victory.

“Purdue took care of Minnesota (ey) last evening. Saturday we travel to Madison to take on the 20th ranked Badgers. I am afraid this will be our first loss of the season. Very tough to play here.

I'm going to be quaffing a cool one and enjoying the comraderie of my fellow Jayhawk fans tonight as KU has fun with the Cornell Bears.
However, it's the next game I'm worried about. I just hope the Vols are limited to one weapon per player.”

Well, the greatest college basketball program of all time into infinity is back in the "W" column. However, they have this KU fan a tad worried. Old Uncle Dunny would like to see those basketball players do what they get paid to do and that's quit loafin' around on defense. I mean, at this rate, they would only beat Purdue by 12-15 points and that would be a disgrace.
Hey, and a shot within 10 feet of the basket might just bring some variety to the game. What do you think, guys?”

Much better outing by the Jayhawks this afternoon. And, they took old Uncle Dunny's advice and shot a few from close to the basket. TTech is definitely not a great team this year, but KU was playing strong and made them look worse than they really are.
Oh, and congratulations to the Wildcats of Northwestern. A basketball powerhouse of epic proportions.”

We could use a pick up game at a off-site fieldhouse. Someplace where they are not used to loosing. Someplace in the middle of this great country.
