As it turned out, he signed everyone with a clause that says they can opt out if he goes.

We don't have any recruits left. I am guessing he will try to take them all to Kentucky. I am very disappointed in that as it sure makes it look like Coach Cal was taking care of Coach Cal, not the University.”

“In the long run Memphis may be better off without Calipari. Though he has managed to avoid violation investigations while there, his history suggests that it might have been just a matter of time before the hammer came down on the university.

He could sort of fly under the radar in CUSA, but he will undoubtedly get much greater scrutiny at UK. Especially the BS that goes on with handlers like World-wide Wes Williams.”

The Jayhawks go out and it's a run-and-gun game for the entire first half and it's neck-and-neck. Second half, the Jayhawks do slow it down and win the championship. What a game!”

“Rutgers women's team lost one of the best players in the country. Epiphanny Prince will forgo her senior year to play in Europe.

I had no idea the salaries were so high there. She'll be pulling down a solid 6 figures. Her family lives in the projects and she plans to use her skills to help lift them out of poverty.

I can't blame her a bit, but I'll really miss seeing her play on the banks of the Old Raritan. She had the poise that comes from playing in three straight sweet sixteens, making it as far as the national championship game.

“Just witnessed the Jayhawk women_s team put up 106 points against a decent Oral Roberts team. Look out for the KU women this season. They might knock off some big name teams. They still play too sloppy for my taste, but they have some good scorers.
